New homes, older homes
A lot of Barling's recent growth is tied to Chaffee Crossing, the redevelopment of former Fort Chaffee land on the edge of town. New subdivisions there and around the city have fresh slabs in two- and three-car garages. Closer to the older center of Barling, near city hall and the established streets, homes are smaller and slabs have had decades to crack, stain and settle.
Fresh concrete needs time before it can be coated. We test moisture and plan the job once the slab is ready. Older concrete needs more grinding and repair, and we price that honestly.
Built for weekend projects
Barling garages tend to be busy places: lawn equipment, project cars, deer stands, freezers and workbenches. That means oil, sawdust, grass and the occasional dropped tool. A coated floor keeps stains out and sweeps clean.
Floor coatings we offer
- Epoxy garage floors, our most common job
- Flake, for texture and hiding dirt
- Metallic, for decorative rooms
- Polyaspartic, when you need it done in a day
- Commercial coatings for the shops and businesses along the main roads
- Polished concrete
- Repairs for peeling floors
- Outdoor sealing
Weather in western Arkansas
Hot, humid summers, cold snaps in winter and stormy springs. Hail and heavy rain mean wet garages and muddy tires. A sealed floor makes cleanup easy.
Our area
Barling, Lavaca and the surrounding parts of Sebastian County.
Simple questions, straight answers
My house is brand new. When can I coat the garage?
Usually after the concrete has cured about a month. We test to make sure.
Can you coat a floor with a project car on it?
We need the floor fully clear. Most people park in the driveway or at a neighbor's for two days.
What if my floor is already painted?
Paint has to come off. Grinding removes it so the new coating can bond.
